The Imagination Library of Lonoke County is excited to announce the first-ever 'Bowling for Books” fundraiser which will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Allfam Bowling Center in Cabot. ABOUT IMAGINATION LIBRARY OF LONOKE COUNTY The mission of the Imagination Library of Lonoke County (ILLC) is to enhance literacy among young children in Lonoke County by providing books to children in their homes each month at NO COST TO FAMILIES. Since 2021, Building Bridges Developmental and Community Services has been the administrator of the Imagination Library of Lonoke County, and has provided over 48,000 high-quality, age appropriate, and developmentally appropriate books to children in Lonoke County. The Imagination Library of Lonoke County is available to all children, ages birth to 5, and there are over 1,700 children enrolled in the Lonoke County affiliate at this time. The program is an affiliate of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
